Please welcome Florentino Ubungen as Program Services Coordinator, Outreach. Florentino currently served as the part-time Outreach Coordinator here at Skyline College. However, his work experience is quite extensive. Florentino has worked for the City College of San Francisco (CCSF), Transitional Studies Program, CCSF Multi-Cultural Retention Department, CAL-SOAP, University of San Francisco’s Upward Bound program and the Daly City Peninsula Partnership as aProgram Coordinator for their after-school programs.
Florentino Ubungen is a San Francisco native. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University in Liberal Studies and a Master’s Degree from San Jose State in Educational Counseling. He was also a scholar athlete, playing baseball for City College of San Francisco and the Academy of Art University. He has also played professional baseball in the Philippines with the Alabang Tigers. He is very passionate about working with students and looks forward to building the Outreach and Recruitment program at Skyline College.
