The Accreditation Open Forum Celebration held on October 3, 2013 was a huge success. Over 80 Skyline College students, faculty, staff and administration enjoyed lunch. The focus of the Open Forum was to help the college community prepare for accreditation. President Dr. Regina Stroud kicked off the forum with opening remarks. Dr. Sarah Perkins, Accreditation Liaison Office and Vice President of Instruction, Donna Bestock, Accreditation Co-Chair and Christine Roumbanis, Accreditation Co-Chair lead the forum discussions including:
• Accreditation updates
• What happens during accreditation
• Review of the Accreditation Guide to Essential Resources
• Review of the Mission – Vision – Values Statement (MVV)
• SLOAC
