On Friday, April 8th morning, Skyline College transformed into a hub of celestial excitement as students, faculty, and community members gathered for a rare astronomical event: a partial solar eclipse. Organized by the Physics and Astronomy club, the event aimed to provide an educational and awe-inspiring experience for all attendees.

Despite the early hour, enthusiasm radiated as participants arrived at the designated viewing area in front of the Fireside Dining Hall. They were able to view the event safely using solar eclipse glasses and a telescope.

The event attracted a diverse crowd, including astronomy enthusiasts, curious students, and eager faculty members. For many, it was their first opportunity to witness a solar eclipse firsthand, making the occasion all the more special.
