The International Students Program (ISP) has been officially moved to the Global Learning Division as part of the Skyline College Strategic Priorities. Richard Soyombo has assumed administrative responsibility for the program that currently has grown from 20 to 89 students with an anticipated addition of 25 new students next semester.
In addition to his Program Services Coordinator role in the English Language Institute, Christopher Rico will substitute as the ISP Director while Adejumoke (Jaye) Akin-Taylor is away on leave until January 30, 2014. Chris will be available in the ISP office in the Multicultural Center – Room 4-258 in the afternoon each day. ISP Counselors and staff will continue to work with the students in the program, including counselors Javier Urena, Carla Campillo, Daryn Chan, and A&R staff member, Minerva Velasquez.
