Dean Dino Nomicos has been selected to receive the prestigious 2024 4CA Coaching Achievement Award presented by the 3A2A. This honor marks a historic moment for Skyline College as Dean Nomicos becomes the first coach in the San Mateo County Community College District to receive this esteemed accolade.
The award recognizes Dean Nomicos’s exceptional dedication, participation, and contributions to the coaching profession.
Throughout his illustrious 38-year coaching career, including 20 years at Skyline College, Dean Nomicos has exemplified leadership, integrity, and high ethical standards. His outstanding achievements as head coach of the Trojan baseball program include a remarkable record, numerous accolades, and a legacy of producing successful student-athletes both on and off the field.
Dean Nomicos was honored at the “Honoring Our Own Awards” ceremony that took place at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento on March 28, 2024. This event celebrates the exemplary service and accomplishments of professionals within the 3C2A and its affiliated organizations.
