Skyline Women’s Basketball defeats City College of San Francisco
Skyline College Women’s Basketball defeated City College of San Francisco on Wednesday night by a final score of 60-50. Skyline College used a spread scoring attack, good post play, and great perimeter defense to lead the Rams 36-24 at halftime. CCSF closed the lead in the second half, but good ball control from Jazel Talauta and timely shooting from Monique Garret helped the Trojans pull away. Skyline College will host Ohlone College at 5pm on Friday.
Trojans Sweep Season Series with CSM
Skyline College Women’s Basketball defeated College of San Mateo last Friday 70-30 to sweep the season series against the Bulldogs. The Trojans jumped out to a huge halftime lead through good ball movement, unselfish play, and great defense. Stephanie Allen led the way with 22 points. Tianna Mitchell added 12 rebounds, while Sahara Clay chipped in with four blocks.
