Please join us in welcoming Ms. Kathleen (Kat) Tshifunda to the President’s Office. Ms. Tshifunda comes to us with a wealth of experience in administrative, non-profit and academic institutions. She has previously worked for Spelman College, in Atlanta as an Administrative Assistant in the Provost and President’s Office. Her most current position was as a French translator for Cefla North America. She has also served as an Assistant Office Manager for the National Black Art Festival.
Kat’s warm welcome and pleasant smile will be first thing you encounter when you visit the Building 4, third floor administrative suite housing the Office of the President, Vice Presidents, Administrative Services, Public Information and Research and Planning.
Kat attended Heald College in Hayward and received her Associates of Arts in Business Administration. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Art in Art History with a minor in French Literature from Mansfield University and is on track to graduate in May 2016.
