The Sterile Processing Program is currently accepting applications for the 2026 cohort! As a crucial part of the healthcare team, sterile processing technicians play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and well-being by sterilizing medical equipment and instruments. 

In this program, students will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to work in sterile processing departments, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The program covers topics such as infection control, sterilization techniques, and the handling of medical devices. 

This profession is on the rise, driven by an increasing number of surgeries and advancements in medical technology. As a result, hospitals and clinical settings are seeking skilled sterile processing technicians to manage and maintain a wide range of complex medical supplies, instruments, and equipment. With numerous opportunities for upward mobility, sterile processing technicians can advance to senior roles, overseeing teams and assuming leadership responsibilities.
