On October 25, 2024, the Skyline College Child Development Center preschool class in Building 14 visited the library. The director and teachers worked with librarian Jason to see and listen to stories. The children loved it! The student teachers of the Center—Joshua, Diana, and Laloifi, long-term substitute Nawal, and master teacher Leticia—all got a chance to read stories on the rug. The librarians shared two Halloween-themed books: A Little Ghost Who Was A Quilt and Gustavo The Shy Ghost.
Jason and the librarians also welcomed us with candy, water, and stickers! It was an incredible time. The Center is grateful for the opportunity and plans to visit more frequently. The children are already asking, “When are we going to the library?” Thank you, Skyline College Library! “Today, a reader, tomorrow, a leader.”
