The Skyline College Strategic Planning and Allocation of Resources Committee (SPARC) met on Thursday, February 25, 2021.
Tri-chair Ingrid Vargas, Dean of Planning, Research, Innovation and Effectiveness presented overall review of student outcomes metrics from the Skyline College Scorecard. The scorecard reflects the metrics measured by ACCJC. Please see links for more detail Scorecard Overview and Scorecard.pdf
The Skyline College Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) Co-chairs Ricardo Flores and Rolin Moe gave an update of the TAC charge, membership and responsibilities. Some major projects include revising the technology plan for 2019-2023 to incorporate changes due to the pandemic, and technology integration with the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) to improve operations and student services.
As a follow-up to the February 11th meeting, Paul Cassidy, Manager of Finance and Operations provided a recap of the additional Fund 1 budget resources for FY 2020-21 and the three scenarios for allocation of these resources based on the Committee’s input. Members will have opportunity to obtain feedback from their constituents and submit their votes on the scenario at the next meeting.
Tri-chair Vargas led the discussion on the Institutional Effectiveness Committee (IEC) recommended goals for the ACCJC Annual Report. Members will also vote on the recommendation at the next meeting. Further information in the IEC can be found IEC
