Last Friday, the Chemistry Lab transformed into a playground of polymers as about 20 students gathered for a hands-on slime-making session. Officer Ruby Folber kicked off the event with an engaging presentation on the chemistry behind slime, unveiling the science of this gooey phenomenon. The real fun began as attendees, guided by the officer team of Mikaela Bautista, Jiaxuan Qiao, Mandar Swe Swe Paing, Akshey Sukuh, and Ruby Folber, dove into creating their own colorful concoctions. Laughter and excitement filled the air as students bonded over vibrant colors, glitter, and generous portions of slime.

But the chemistry fun doesn’t stop there! Mark your calendars for Friday, September 27 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., when the team will be sharing the fizzy science of bath bombs. Attendees will have the opportunity to craft their own. Don’t miss out on this bubbly experience.
