Jashwin Sagoo and Jackson Womack presented their original scientific research at the Northern California Branch of the American Society for Microbiology spring meeting on March 7 -9, 2014. Jash and Jackson presented alongside students from four-year universities at the Hilton Pleasanton. At the meeting, they also participated in session on clinical and environmental microbiology.
Jashwin presented his work on “Antibacterial and Antifungal Properties of Symphoricarpos albus” and Jackson presented “Antimicrobial Effects of Mimulus aurantiacus.” Jash and Jackson are doing their research with Christine Case.
