Skyline College’s Beta Theta Omicron Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence and leadership during the 2023/2024 academic year. The chapter’s outstanding performance was recognized with numerous awards at the recent NV/CA PTK Spring Leadership Conference in Ontario, CA, showcasing its officers’ and members’ dedication and talent.

In addition to these impressive achievements, the Beta Theta Omicron Chapter also participated in all eight regional projects, including CCSmart, Supporting Student Success, Community Project, Cultural Project, Founder’s Day, Environmental Outreach, Chapters United, and Career Readiness and Mentorship. This level of involvement demonstrates the chapter’s commitment to engaging with the community and developing well-rounded leaders.

The success of the Beta Theta Omicron Chapter is a testament to the hard work and dedication of its members, as well as the support provided by Skyline College, VPAS Joe Morello, ASSC/SOCC, and the Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) program. Their support has enabled the chapter members to travel and participate in these valuable leadership opportunities.

As we celebrate the chapter’s remarkable achievements, we invite the entire Skyline College community to join us in recognizing the outstanding work of these talented students. Their leadership, service, and commitment to excellence inspire us all, and we look forward to seeing their continued success in the future.
