We are thrilled to announce that three exceptional Skyline College students, Andrea Anderson, Kyaw Soe Lwin, and Qian Zhao, have advanced to the semifinal round of the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Transfer Scholarship!

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship is one of the most competitive and generous transfer scholarships in the nation, supporting high-achieving students with demonstrated financial need as they continue their academic journeys at four-year universities. Reaching the semifinal stage is a significant accomplishment, placing Andrea Anderson, Kyaw Soe Lwin, and Qian Zhao among an elite group of community college students from across the US.

All three students are active members of Skyline’s Beta Theta Omicron Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and their selection reflects the kind of scholarly dedication and leadership PTK fosters on our campus.

The Skyline College community couldn’t be prouder of these outstanding scholars. Their hard work and commitment to their education have brought them to this incredible milestone.

Best of luck to Andrea, Kyaw, and Qian in the final round — we’re rooting for you! 🎉
