The Skyline College Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams hosted a very special Coaches vs. Cancer event last Wednesday. The games raised over $1,000 for Isabella (Bella) Hung, an 8-year old girl from Pacifica fighting Leukemia. Bella was in attendance, along with many of her family members and friends. Special thanks to Chelsea Terrell (student intern with the Men’s Basketball Program), the Skyline College Marketing, Communications and Public Relations Office, and the Skyline College Bookstore for helping promote the event. Thanks also to the Public Safety Office for coordinating parking on campus that evening. Finally, thanks to Ella Piergrossi for performing our National Anthem.
