On May 7, 2026, students, faculty, classified professionals, and managers gathered to celebrate 480 scholarship recipients at the annual Skyline College Scholarship Awards banquet. The San Mateo Community College Foundation raised more than $400,000 for student scholarships at Skyline College.
The event paired donors with students, so students could meet the people behind the money. The Skyline College Financial Aid team joined Outreach, Admissions and Records, and Veterans’ Services to ensure that students learned about scholarship opportunities and applied for funds.
The team would like to thank the Enrollment Services team (Financial Aid, Admissions and Records, Outreach, International Student Program, and Veterans), the Student Scholarship Awards Ceremony Work Group, the Foundation, donors, scholarship readers, ceremony speakers, and college leadership for helping make the event such a success.
