A volunteer for the California Highway Patrol by the name of Jin Jue heard that our automotive program produces high valued technicians. The California Highway Patrol is hiring, so he made an arrangement with our instructor, Raxell Villagracia, to come and visit his class.

Raxell was able to incorporate this visit to coincide with one of his lab classes and utilize the patrol car that was brought in as a teaching tool, demonstrating how to check the transmission fluid for our students. The students also corrected the highway patrol vehicle’s low tire pressure.

Jin Jue left flyers and job postings for our program’s job posting board. The Automotive Program is pleased to have a hands-on opportunity like this for our students.
