On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) Program at Skyline College hosted a ScholarMatch STEM Transfer Program workshop. The session featured Ana Navidad, Community College Transfer Specialist with ScholarMatch, a nonprofit that supports first-generation college students in STEM majors as they prepare to transfer to four-year universities.

During the workshop, students learned more about the ScholarMatch application process and the benefits of participating in the program, including the opportunity to be paired with a dedicated transfer coach. The session also provided a space for students to ask questions and connect with staff while enjoying pizza.

Students planning to transfer next year are encouraged to apply to the ScholarMatch STEM Transfer Program. The application deadline is Monday, September 15, 2025. For more information, please visit: https://www.scholarmatch.org/students/stem.
