The Community College League of California is pleased to welcome Revee Reboredo, a student trustee at Skyline College, as the student member of the California Community College Trustees Board (CCCT) for 2026–27.
Reboredo became a student trustee with a goal of ensuring student voices are heard and represented on campus. During her campaign for student trustee, she emphasized accessibility and listening, dedicating time each day to being available for students to share their experiences, concerns and ideas.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to be a part of the CCCT board. I look forward to stepping outside of my comfort zone, learning from districts across California and being part of efforts that can improve the student experience beyond my own district,” Reboredo said.
Reboredo is pursuing associate degrees in Political Science and Psychology while utilizing the community college transfer pathway. She plans to transfer to a University of California campus to complete her bachelor’s degree before attending law school.
Reboredo’s own educational journey has shaped her commitment to making higher education more accessible. After unenrolling in university, she chose to attend a community college. Through community college, she discovered the resources and opportunities available to students and saw firsthand the impact colleges can have on both individuals and their communities.
Reboredo hopes to help highlight the many ways community colleges support students beyond the classroom, including addressing basic needs and connecting students with resources that make higher education more accessible.
As the CCCT student member, Reboredo is particularly interested in sharing the work taking place in her district to address basic needs, including its free college initiative, student housing and transportation support. She also looks forward to learning from successful efforts in other districts and contributing to statewide conversations and solutions.
