This summer, the Skyline College Promise Scholars Program (PSP) successfully hosted its annual Promise Scholars Summer Institute, where PSP staff and counselors welcomed incoming Promise and Pathway students. As part of the onboarding process, all new scholars for both Promise Scholars and Pathway Scholars were expected to attend this institute before the start of the fall semester, where they reviewed program expectations and resources to help them begin their journey on a strong footing. The Promise Scholars Program received about ~750 applications and accepted 440 students. Pathway Scholars Program received about ~160 applications and accepted 40 students.
