Skyline College’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter was invited to provide STEM activities for the community at the South San Francisco STEM night on November 15.
Chapter officers, Shelvana Cai, Thanh Nguyen, and Michael Wong, developed fun, hands-on activities for kids. The kids (and their parents) especially enjoyed watching critters moving through the microscope.
Chapter members brought a different activity to the Spring STEM night and were invited back because of the positive feedback the SSF Community Learning Center received. The STEM night generated excitement for STEM learning by encouraging families to explore STEM together in a fun way.
