Disability advocate, comedian, and storyteller Nina G. presented her one-woman show “Going Beyond Inspirational” at Skyline College last month. In addition to stories of her childhood experiences as an individual who stutters and has a learning disability, Nina G. shared how she was able to gain the confidence to begin performing in a comedy troupe.

Skyline College alumni and former Associated Students of Skyline College president, Nicole Harris, also presented and told her story of losing her eyesight later in life. She spoke of how she learned to live and thrive as a person with blindness.
