The men’s basketball team secured an 81-71 victory over Feather River College in the 2nd round of the State Tournament on Saturday night in front of a packed house. The crowd included many former players and assistant coaches, including two members of Skyline College’s 1976-77 State Championship team.

Ted Scott, Skyline’s 2nd all-time leading scorer, from Westmoor High School, was in attendance. He was joined by former teammate, Dan O’Shea, from Jefferson High School. O’Shea was named Teacher of the Year in the West Contra Costa Unified School District in 2019-20.

Skyline College will face defending state champion West Valley College in Saratoga on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
