Students at Welcom BBQThe International Student Program (ISP) and the International Affairs Student Club (IASC) hosted a New Student Welcome BBQ on August 28, 2015. New and continuing international students enjoyed a beautiful summer afternoon at San Mateo Central Park.

The new IASC President, Jingjing “Yvonne” Zhao, took the initiative to plan and implement this kick-off event for the fall semester. Jingyi “Roma” Feng and Yidi “Takushin” Feng, also IASC officers, worked closely with Yvonne to ensure the success of the event. Thanks to all of their hard work the event was a success. The International Student Program (ISP) at Skyline College is welcoming more than 30 new and continuing students this fall.  While cooking and eating together, students shared their campus experiences so far, discussed their cultural backgrounds and explored new languages.

ISP will continue to provide international and cultural programs and events for Skyline College students, faculty and staff members and the greater Skyline community. Please check future events on the ISP website.
