Student Employment PanelThe Skyline College International Student Program (ISP) hosted a virtual event on March 23, 2021, with a group of panelists of current and former Skyline College ISP students.  The panelists consisted of Habiba Sultana, Jacqueline Ashley Valentino, Noa Abushawareb, and Miho Namba. The students provided a wealth of knowledge based on their experience that helped them in their employment and internship journey. Students shared, their ISP counselor Carlos Romero was extremely helpful in the process of securing employment and internship opportunities.

Connecting with staff and students at ISP, connecting with their professors, and staying focused on their academics all had a positive impact in being prepared to apply and interview for prospective employment and internship opportunities. Students mentioned utilizing the Skyline College Career Readiness and Job Placement as a great asset to help with resume and interviewing skills. This was the final series in the ISP Employment workshop series. If you are interested in learning more about future ISP programs and events, contact the ISP office at skyinternational@smccd.edu
