Patrice RobinsonThe Bay Area Entrepreneur Center is shining a spotlight on Patrice Robinson. Ms. Robinson is a beloved teacher of the Esthetician Program at Skyline College. She supports her students inside the classroom and beyond to follow their passions and career goals. Through leading by example, she instills in them creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit. She has participated in many of the events at the Bay Area Entrepreneur Center to gain more knowledge of business entrepreneurship for her students and herself.

Patrice recently launched her company Global Melanin, an African styled accessory business. Patrice and her mother make necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings in traditional African fabrics. Also, she has added colorful, African paintings in the mix which won a second place prize at Skyline College’s art Gallery. She has participated in a few vending opportunities at Skyline College and BAEC’s recent Summit that has helped her gain initial profits and more visibility.

As a business accelerator and innovative resource center, we work towards providing entrepreneurs the information and support they need to grow their current business or business ideas. We provide business management guidance, networking opportunities, one-on-one consulting, business workshops and classes, and facility space.
