The Skyline College Education and Child Development Department partnered with Izzy Early Education and hosted a training series on November 1, 2023 and December 20, 2023. The training included helping manage behaviors in young children and the Logic Model Framework. Izzy provides high-quality early education and family services for all children in our community.
They operate 10 sites across San Mateo County. Izzy was founded in 1983 as the Institute for Human and Social Development (IHSD) and celebrates 40 years. Izzy has been a community employer partner and several Izzy educators are participating in the Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program (ECAP). The ECAP program supports students taking ECE and GE courses and paid employment toward an Associate Degree for Transfer in Early Childhood Education.
