On Friday, January 31, 2025, the ECHO Club hosted a Cultural Exchange event that welcomed numerous students and staff. This marked their inaugural general meeting for the Spring 2025 semester and the second occurrence of this event. The gathering was filled with cheerful activities, including a multi-language tongue twister game, and was attended by eight participants.

The event began with a warm welcome to attendees and a brief overview of the “Cultural Exchange” initiative. This introduction, led by the club treasurer, Toakase Toke, was supported by fellow officers Shwe Thel Nway (Outreach and Engagement Officer), William Ordoyo (Vice President), and Htut Bhone Naung (Ace) (Secretary). They provided the audience with background information on the purpose and significance of Cultural Exchange.
Following the introduction, the officers clarified the instructions for the engaging games and activities, which included the Tongue Twister game, the Guess the Language game, and Kahoot. Emphasizing the importance of social interaction, they encouraged attendees to form groups of three to four to enjoy the activities fully. The Tongue Twister game proved particularly enjoyable, allowing participants to exchange phrases in various languages such as Korean, Burmese, Tongan, Chinese, and Hindi. Additional activities included the Guess the Language game and the Kahoot quiz.

As the event progressed, the ECHO Club officers prepared light refreshments, including pizzas and drinks, for all attendees. This social dining experience allowed participants, including the officers, to interact and connect with new club members.
The Associated Students of Skyline College (ASSC) and the Center for Student Life and Leadership Development generously sponsored the event.
