Healthy hands v2

Throughout campus, you probably notice Purell Dispensers in buildings.  This is one of many ways to help prevent the spread of colds and the flu.  As part of the Skyline College’s Healthy Choices Campaign, here are some simple steps to protect yourself:

VACCINATE: The Health Center will be providing flu shots in October.  More information on specific dates and times will be announced soon.

COVER YOUR COUGH.  Viruses are mainly spread through the air.

WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY. USE HAND SANITIZERS WHEN WASHING IS NOT AVAILABLE.

DISINFECT COMMON SURFACES SUCH AS KEYBOARDS, PHONES, DOORKNOBS

****STAY HOME WHEN YOU ARE ILL****

STAY AWAY FROM CROWDS.

If everyone follows these guidelines, we may be able to prevent a major outbreak on our campus.

Thank you for your help with this public health issue.
