Moryt MiloMoryt Milo, founder of InternBound, visited Lavinia Zanassi’s CRER 137 class to discuss how students can take advantage of her site to land coveted internships. After watching her daughter and her classmates struggle to find internships while in college, Moryt wanted to help other students through this often frustrating process. Internships afford students valuable real-world experience, can lead to full-time employment, and are sometimes required preceding employment in certain industries.

Traditionally, students will search for an internship, submit an application and wait for a response (or lack thereof).  Conversely, through InternBound, students create a dynamic profile and are courted by businesses looking to hire them! Creating a profile on InternBound will increase students’ visibility and leverage their competitive advantages of landing an internship.

We encourage faculty and staff to tell our students about this new program and set up a brief orientation through the Career Services Center. We can help students complete profiles that will get them noticed and make them viable candidates for internships!
