In an effort to continue serving local and small businesses through the pandemic, the Bay Area Entrepreneur Center of Skyline College is hosting no-cost coaching and advising sessions. Last week BAEC Coach Gisel Martín, met with one of our local businesses, Flowers and Events by Dani, a local and family-run, florist and events company located in Tanforan Mall. Flowers and Events by Dani, received a Micro Grant as part of the Small Business Recovery & Assistance Program, a grant initiative funded by the San Bruno Community Foundation and led by the BAEC. With coaching and mentorship from the BAEC, this business, along with many others, learned how to adapt their operations and marketing for a more online-centric environment, and were given support to apply for much-needed financial relief to sustain their business.
The Bay Area Entrepreneur Center is here to help all businesses, regardless of location, with coaching, workshops, business tools and information on funding opportunities. Visit our BAEC YouTube channel to see videos of tutorials and workshops on many topics. Connect with us on Instagram here: @skylinebaec. The Small Business Recovery & Assistance Program is made possible with funding from the San Bruno Community Foundation. For more information, contact us at baec@smccd.edu.
