The Black and Brown Scholars hosted its last slide thru session – Break Bread, on Friday, 12/1, at the Intercultural Center. Open to all men of color students at Skyline College. CSM’s own Brothers Empowering Brothers joined the group. As a collective, the group discussed what it means to provide cultural empowerment and support for the retention, completion, and transfer goals of men of color. Shoutout to the Intercultural Center for providing space to hold this event and all its collaborators, including staff and counselors from Skyline Promise, CSM Promise, and Skyline ASSC. Stay tuned for more amazing work this coming Spring semester.
