Olivia VialauOlivia Vialau is a full-time Skyline College student, majoring in Engineering, under the Science Technology & Health Meta Major.  Olivia started her career as a student intern in the Internship Job Shadow Program – serving as a staff support volunteer for the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce and she participated in Winter Scholars Program for engineering/science students.

Olivia is now a Student Assistant at the Bay Area Entrepreneur Center, where she shares her skills and expertise with the BAEC team, the College, the business community, the Chamber of Commerce and as one of our in-house coaches, specializing in creating marketing collateral for a variety of clients.  This year, Olivia will be facilitating a soldering workshop entitled “Light Up Your World (The Art/Engineering of Paper Circuits)”, for young girls interested in STEM, at the Annual Expanding Your Horizon’s Conference, held here at Skyline College.

Olivia is a part of the Engineering & Tech Scholars Learning Community, serves as Treasurer for the Women in Science & Engineering Represent! club (WISER!), is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society and is a member of the Genius Bar Volunteer team, where she assists the library in helping students navigate their computers.  As a CALWorks/EOPS student, Olivia attends and participates in Student Parent Group & Lunch discussions.
