BAEC StudentsOn August 5th, 2021, the Bay Area Entrepreneur Center of Skyline College (BAEC) held its second Micro Grants Awards Ceremony for the Small Business Recovery & Assistance Program (SBRAP).  To date, the BAEC has supported forty-seven local businesses with direct funding in the form of Micro Grants and in addition, has created a program providing technical assistance, business tools and resources to see our small businesses through this challenging time.  SBRAP launched in the summer of 2020 and was designed to aid small and local businesses in San Bruno, in their recovery during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.

The BAEC has served hundreds of local businesses with this program and continues to support and enhance the local business community.  Our awards event featured testimonials from local businesses, served by the SBRAP, and guest speakers, including the Mayor of San Bruno and the Executive Director of the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce.

This unique program is made possible by two rounds of grant funding from the San Bruno Community Foundation and supplemental funding from the City of San Bruno and Cañada College-thank you for the support!  In addition, the BAEC wants to thank the San Bruno City Council, the Office of the City Manager, our College, District and vital community partners for their support in making this event possible.
