Skyline College is currently in the midst of its accreditation cycle and is now commencing an essential step in this process, a comprehensive self-evaluation. This process provides an opportunity to reflect on our achievements, address areas for improvement, and ensure that we continue to uphold the standards set by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC).

A key part of this undertaking is the Institutional Self Evaluation Report (ISER), which assesses our institution’s performance across four key accreditation standards:

• Standard I – Institutional Mission and Effectiveness

• Standard II – Student Success

• Standard III – Infrastructure and Resources

• Standard IV – Governance and Decision-Making

Your Input Matters

Skyline College Accreditation Oversight Group is now seeking feedback from the Skyline College community on the first draft of the ISER Standards. Developed over the past year by the Accreditation Oversight Group (AOG), this draft represents a collaborative effort to evaluate our institution’s strengths and identify opportunities for growth.

Your insights will contribute to refining this document before it undergoes a final review over the 2025 summer semester. By participating, you help ensure that Skyline College continues to serve its students and community with excellence.

To participate, visit the Skyline College Accreditation website, where you can review the ISER draft and submit feedback via the ISER Feedback Form.

The accreditation process is a collective effort, and your voice is essential in shaping Skyline College’s future. Thank you for taking the time to contribute to this important initiative. For any questions, please contact skyprie@smccd.edu.
