Partnerships. Commitment to our diverse student body. Continuous improvement. All of these sentiments were present at this year’s Comprehensive Program Review Share Outs, which started with the campus community engaging in conversation with program representatives about their posters, followed by a moderated panel discussion.

One of the CPR goals is to surface the challenges programs have faced so we can problem solve as a community, for instance:
· How do we navigate the post-Covid cultural shift in which students prefer an online modality but may do better accessing learning and support services in person?
· How do we help students to excel in ESOL, English and Math post AB705/ AB1705 (dismantling of pre-transfer courses)?
· How do we maintain a high level of programming, despite flat funding or limited resources?
· How do we continue our efforts to flag fraudulent applications that waste College resources?

Numerous achievements also were celebrated:
· Collaborations across instruction and student services, such as the musical productions by the Music and Dance programs that raised awareness of mental health (partnering with Personal Counseling), and perspectives on death (partnering with Anthropology);
· Jumpstart forging a bridge from high school to the College for historically underrepresented students;
· The Library’s aim to serve as a cultural resource hub via comprehensive, collaborative programming that touches on all of the Institutional SLOs, not solely Information Literacy;
· TRiO students exceeding student success and completion goals;
· Admissions and Records significantly reducing query response rates and time to audit degrees;
· Music and Dance creating curricular and artistic offerings that mirror and entice our student population.
The achievements are too many to enumerate, so you’re encouraged to view the recording of the panel discussion.

Please give kudos to this year’s participating CPR programs for their hard work, dedication, and thoughtfulness, and thanks to the Institutional Effectiveness Committee members for supporting these programs and helping to make the event a success!

Dream big!
