Inaugural College Hour at Skyline College

College HourSkyline College is proud to announce the successful launch of a new community building event, College Hour. Each week, MCPR and Student Life will create an inviting venue for students to come together and connect in person, while learning useful information about various campus services, programs, clubs, and more.

College Hour takes place each Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the quad and we are looking for hosts to join each week! While Marketing and Student Life will always be on site to provide the venue, snacks, music, and games, we are also encouraging campus organizations to use this valuable opportunity to get the word out to students about their great programs. Last week, we were happy to host Project Change as well as a voter registration booth, and many programs have already booked future slots!

As we return to life in person, it helps to have a common place to chat with colleagues and students, grab a (free) snack, or play a quick round of Cornhole. We encourage all to come out to support this great, new initiative!

If you are interested in hosting a future College Hour, you can sign up via this Google Doc.
